Pntheon is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. The following Privacy Policy outlines what data we collect, why we collect it, how we use this information, and the choices we offer in terms of how to access, update, or remove data. This Privacy Policy applies only to data provided to us when using the www.pntheon.com website (and any websites owned by Pntheon) and/or any of Pntheon’s services.

Effective as of March 20th, 2018

Pntheon’s Service and Client Data

Customers of our Service (“Clients”) may use our Service to collect data related to digital marketing efforts, use of Client’s website, application, or service, and 3rd party applications and services available in connection with such websites, services, and applications (“Client Data”). While Pntheon specifically prohibits its Clients from the collection of Personally Identifiable Information using our Services, Clients may provide their own anonymized customer identifier to Pntheon in order to enrich their implementation of the Service. The use of data provided by our Clients in connection with our Services is subject to the written agreement between Pntheon and Client. This Privacy Policy does not apply to Client Data. We are not responsible for our Clients’ privacy policies or actions with respect to Client Data. This Privacy Policy does not apply to websites, applications, or services that display or link to different privacy statements.

Access to Data Controlled by our Clients

Pntheon has no direct relationship with the subjects whose data is contained within the Client Data processed by our Service. To correct, amend, or delete inaccurate data provided by our Clients inquiries should be directed to Pntheon’s Client. If a Client requests Pntheon to remove or modify any data, we will accommodate their request within 30 days.

Use of Cookies

Our Service uses cookies — a small text file containing a string of alphanumeric characters — to anonymously identify a browser as we collect events on behalf of our clients. These cookies may come from our domain ‘rmulus.com’ or from our clients website domains. We respect the ‘Do Not Track’ global browser preferences setting, and you can also reset your web browser cookies to clear these cookies.

Use of Advertising IDs

Our Service may also make use of Advertising Ids for anonymous identification purposes. These device-specific Ids are used to inform interest-based advertising within applications vs. browser environments. You can reset your Advertising Id or opt-out via the links below.

Website Visitors

Our Service may automatically record certain information about how a person uses our Site (we refer to this information as “Log Data”), including both account holders and non-account holders. Log Data may include information such as a user’s Internet Protocol (IP) address, device and browser type, operating system, the pages or features of our Site to which a user browsed, search terms, the links on our Site that a user clicked on or used, and other statistics. We analyze (and may engage third parties to analyze) this information to improve and enhance the Service by expanding its features and functionality and tailoring it to our users’ needs and preferences.

In the course of your use of the Site, you may provide us with certain personally identifying information that can be used to provide you the Service, to identify and contact you, and to set up and administer your account (“Personally Identifying Information” or “PII”). PII may include, but is not limited to, your name, phone number, credit card or other billing information, email address, and postal addresses. You may at any time refuse to provide the PII that we request; however, this may limit our ability to provide Services to you.

PII is used for the following purposes: (i) to provide, administer and improve our Services, (ii) to better understand your needs and interests, (iii) to fulfill requests you may make, (iv) to personalize your experience, (v) to provide Service announcements, (vi) to provide you with further information and offers from Pntheon or our affiliates, and (vii) protect, investigate and deter against fraudulent, harmful, unauthorized or illegal activity.

We may partner with a third party ad network to either display advertising on our Site or to manage our advertising on other sites. Our ad network partner may use cookies and Web beacons to collect non-personally identifiable information about your activities on our Site and other Web sites to provide you targeted advertising based upon your interests. If you wish to not have this information used for the purpose of serving you targeted ads, you may opt-out by clicking here. Please note this does not opt you out of being served advertising. You will continue to receive generic ads.

If you purchase subscriptions to our Service from our Site, we request that you provide your name, email address, billing address, credit card information, telephone number and other information necessary to open your account and complete the transaction. We do not collect or store your full credit card information (although we may store the last four digits for verification purposes). Our credit card processing service provider will collect and store full payment card information from you to pay for your Service.

We may display personal testimonials of satisfied customers on our Site in addition to other endorsements. With your consent we may post your testimonial along with your name. If you wish to update or delete your testimonial, please contact us.

Because the nature of our Service does not appeal to children under the age of 13, Pntheon does not knowingly acquire or receive PII from children under 13. If we later learn that any user of our Service is under the age of 13, we will take appropriate steps to remove that user’s information from our account database and will restrict that individual from future access to the Service.

Changing or Deleting Your Information

You may also contact us directly to change or delete information related to your account.

Our Site may include social media features, such as the Facebook “like” button and widgets, such as the “share this” button. These features may collect your PII and track your use of the Site. These social media features are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our Site. Your interactions with these features are governed by the privacy policy of the company providing such functionality.

You may choose to submit your email address or other contact information via our Site. We may use this information to send you news about Pntheon-related services, products or promotions. We may use one or more service providers to administer these messages, but we do not share your email address with spammers or any other third parties without your permission. We will give you the ability to opt out of marketing-related e-mails by logging in and changing your account settings or by clicking on a link at the bottom of each such e-mail. In some of our communications, we use tracking means, such as a “click-through URL” linked to content on the Site. We track this data to help us measure the effectiveness of our customer communications.

We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the PII submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it (including encrypted storage, firewalls and password protection). No method of transmission over the Internet using industry standard technology is 100% secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information.

Pntheon may collect and analyze non-PII information about the performance of its Service. From time to time, Pntheon may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its Service.

Changes to Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. We encourage you to periodically review this page for the latest information on our privacy practices. Any modifications to this Privacy Policy will be effective upon our posting of the new terms and/or upon implementation of the new changes on the Service (or as otherwise indicated at the time of posting). In all cases, your continued use of the Service or Site after the posting of any modified Privacy Policy indicates your acceptance of the terms of the modified Privacy Policy.
